Abigail Mak
President
Abigail (Abi), President of the Women in Cybersecurity Student Chapter at RIT, is a dedicated and committed third-year cybersecurity student. She believes that the environment WiCyS fosters is extremely special. She says it is an environment in which gender minorities can feel supported and welcome in cybersecurity. Her niches are physical security, penetration testing, and vulnerability management. In her spare time, Abi loves crafts, lockpicking, and cooking. She is also the co-lead for the Physical Security Interest Group at RITSEC.
Tori Lasek
Vice President
Tori is the Vice President of the Women in Cybersecurity Student Chapter. She is a dedicated second-year student majoring in cybersecurity. She believes that WiCyS at RIT is an amazing community in which to learn and grow. She says there are many opportunities for networking and gaining experience in the cyber field. Her niches are DFIR and web exploitation. In her spare time, she plays the clarinet and speaks French.
Anny Hua
Treasurer
Anny, Treasurer of the WiCyS Student Chapter at RIT, is a fourth-year cybersecurity student. As someone who grew up with no background in cybersecurity before college, she wanted to provide more opportunities for the next generation of women cybersecurity professionals. Her niches are network security and infrastructure. She is interning at Hasbro this summer. She also loves music and has attended five concerts this year, with seven more planned.
Grace McGinn
Secretary
Grace is the Secretary of Women in Cybersecurity. She is a second-year cybersecurity major with an immersion in ASL. She believes that WiCyS gives women the space to develop their cybersecurity skills in an inclusive and caring community while allowing men and other allies to support these women and learn along the way. Her niches are auditing, education, and incident response. Outside of WiCyS, she loves to sing and read.
Esha Josyula
Operations Lead
Esha, the Operations Lead of the Women in Cybersecurity Student Chapter, is a third-year BS/MS student majoring in cybersecurity. She loves being part of WiCyS because it is such a welcoming and supportive community. It has helped her grow professionally, meet amazing people, and feel more confident as a woman in cybersecurity. Her niches are reverse engineering and DFIR. Outside of WiCyS, she is also in Zindagi, a South Asian fusion dance team, and she plays electric guitar and ukulele.
