Arshia Aggarwal

President

Arshia, President of the Women in Cybersecurity Student Chapter at RIT, is a dedicated and committed third year Cybersecurity student with an immersion in Political Science. Her drive has been recognized through receiving Dean’s List throughout the entirety of her college career. Beyond academics, Arshia is an active member of RIT’s Power Yoga Club where she has learned to engage in mindfulness, and to improve overall physical and mental health. Additionally, she is a part of RIT’s Ballet Dance Collective where she hones her discipline, creativity, and collaborative spirit while performing diverse choreographies.

Ariana Ciaschini

CTF Organizer

Ariana Ciaschini, the CTF organizer of the Women in Cybersecurity Student Chapter at RIT is a 5th year Cybersecurity BS/MS and Criminal Justice BS student. She has been an active WiCyS Member since her sophomore year and currently work as a Digital Forensics SOC Analyst. Outside of club and academics, she enjoys cooking and weight lifting.

Lily Wong

Vice President

Lily is the Co-Vice President of the Women in Cybersecurity Student Chapter. She is currently third year student in the BS/MS program in Cybersecurity and has an immersion in music. Lily also holds a Performing Arts Scholarship and was a past member of the RIT Orchestra and Chamber Orchestra. Outside of academic commitments, she enjoys reading, crochet, raising plants, puzzles, and gaming.

Anushka Tilara

Treasurer

Anushka, Treasurer of the WiCyS Student Chapter at RIT, is a third-year cybersecurity student. She has her ISC2 Certified in Cybersecurity certification and is currently studying for the Splunk cert exam. She loves swimming and playing badminton in her free time. She looks forward to making WiCyS even better this year!

Emmalee Carpenter

Secretary

Emmalee Carpenter, the Secretary of Women in CyberSecurity! Emmalee is a 3rd year BS/MS Cybersecurity Major and has been an active member of WiCyS since Fall 2024! She recently did a co-op this summer focused on Incident Response Consulting. At college, she participates in the RIT Game Symphony Orchestra and RITSEC. In her free time, she likes to play video games, read, go to escape rooms, and find new places to eat!

Jennifer Tanekeu

Operations Lead

Jennifer, the Operations Lead of the Women in Cybersecurity Student Chapter, is a second-year student. She is majoring in Computer Engineering with a minor in Finance. Jennifer has her security plus and got into cybersecurity through her high schools IT program. She enjoys playing soccer, reading and being in the sun. She’s ready to work to make WiCys at RIT and inclusive, educational and fun environment.
